You'll see the truck size, the number of movers and exactly what's included. Packing, boxes or storage cost extra? It says so right there, not on the invoice afterwards.
Talk to one person
One coordinator, start to finish. They'll sort parking, book the lift if you're in an apartment, and line up any special gear.
Move day
Blankets on the furniture, covers on the mattresses, everything strapped tight in the truck so nothing slides around on the motorway.
Set up at the new place
Boxes land in whichever room the label says. Beds get put back together. You sleep in your own bed that night, not on a mattress on the floor.
Packing and Unpacking
Packing always takes longer than you think. Always. A three-bedroom place can easily chew through 60 boxes or more. Our packers turn up with the cartons, paper and tape. Plates go in on their edges (they're stronger that way), glasses get wrapped one by one, and your clothes go into wardrobe boxes still on their hangers.
Want to pack yourself and save a bit? No problem. Order moving boxes and packing supplies from us and leave just the lifting to the crew. Plenty of people meet us halfway: they box up books and clothes, and we do the kitchen and anything fragile.
Heavy, Fragile and Awkward Items
Every home has a few pieces that make movers wince. A solid rimu dining table. A glass cabinet. The gym rack in the garage. Grandma's sideboard that nobody's allowed to scratch. We'll take legs off tables, put mirrors and artwork into padded cartons, and use trolleys and straps on the whiteware. If something looks too big for the hallway, we plan the route first. Not halfway down the stairs.

Storage, Cleaning and Rubbish Removal
Settlement dates rarely line up perfectly. If you're out of the old place before you've got keys to the new one, we'll keep your furniture in secure storage and bring it over when you're ready. Need the place spotless for the bond inspection? We can arrange an end-of-tenancy clean. And for the stuff you've finally decided not to take, there's rubbish removal.
Residential Moving FAQs
How far ahead should I book my house move?
Two to four weeks usually does it. For end of the month, Saturdays or school holidays, get in earlier, because those dates go fast.
Should I empty the drawers and wardrobes?
Anything heavy, loose or breakable comes out. Light clothes in a solid dresser can normally stay, but check with your coordinator first.
Are my belongings insured while you move them?
Ask us about transit cover when you book. We'll talk you through it, and you can decide whether the expensive stuff needs more.
Can you move me if I can't be there on the day?
Yep. As long as someone you trust can let the crew in and sign off at both ends, we're good.
